Midway to Nowhere is a children’s book about home, belonging, and purpose. Birdy is a young child born in the Junkyard, a place where wishes go to sleep. It sits between the old home that Baba longs for but can never return to and Earth, the place where Birdy’s new friends, Felix and May, seem so determined to go.
